Executive Chef

Summary: Responsible for Meal-Planning, Food-Preparation, Inventory, Safety, HACCP / Food-Sanitation Activities, General Sanitation of the Kitchen, Cleanliness and Organization. Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements: AA degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited Culinary Institute. State of Alaska Food Handlers Card or obtain within one month of employment required. Valid Alaska Driver’s License, provide a copy of clean driving record and insurable under company automotive insurance Three years experience successfully cooking and baking from scratch; thorough knowledge of food and baking preparation techniques. Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment. Able to work independently and with a team. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Preference shall be given to eligible and qualified Alaska Native / American Indian applicants pursuant to P.L. 93-638 Indian Self-Determination Act.
